I only had the privilege of knowing Lurch for the last 8 of his 18 years. Prior to my moving in he lived alone with his "Mommy," my girlfriend Kathy who had raised him from a kitten. Initially he didn't like me moving in and expressed his feelings by tearing up Kathy's favorite dress. After a while he warmed up to me, and became my good friend. I miss you Lurch, There will never be another like you.
