Hildegarde
was born to a feral mother under the house across the street and eventually
her Mom brought the kittens into my backyard for better sanctuary. Hildegarde
was so delicate and timid. I moved the wild little family inside and have
shared my home with them for twelve happy years.
Hildegarde died April 24, 2001.
I will never get over it.
